There is some great news if you happen to be a student at any American college. Microsoft is offering the latest Operating System – Windows 7 at just 30 dollars to you.
Requirements are simple enough- proof that you study in an American college. Or an email id from the university/college you study.
$30 is an awesome reduction considering the fact that Windows 7 license would have otherwise cost you atleast $120. So thank Uncle Bill and get your Windows 7. Dont hurry up though, because this offer is live upto January 3 2010. So you can take your time to bag Windows 7. Whatever.

There are lot of such initiatives, for students. Good they are coming up with these ideas. But i prefer downloading a Linux DVD rather than spending 30$ on w7.
