When you are blogging it is important to create a community of other bloggers around you. And the best community is to make of bloggers who blog about the same niche as yours. But I have noticed that unless your niche is really popular many bloggers find it hard to find peer in their niche. To help you out, here are a few ways to find other bloggers in your niche:
It is the first place where you should go. Google blogs is a great search engine to find other bloggers who are blogging about the same niche as yours. You just need to type in a few keywords that are oriented towards your niche. Google blog search is updated continuously so you can find many new blogs that are based on the same niche as yours.
Blogger Communities:
These are basically get-together for bloggers. These communities offer you to become friends with many of your bloggers in the blogosphere and blogger communities have also proven effective to send your way some residual traffic. Blogger communities like MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog are the most popular one’s out there. You can search with the keywords to find bloggers in your niche.
Blogging Directories:
This is another awesome way to find other bloggers in your niche. It has been easy to see that most blog directories classify the blogs according to categoriesm but, it may become difficult for you to find blogs related to your niche because of the sheer volume of blogs present in the directories.
Blog Top Lists:
Blog top lists are also much like blogging directories but they rank blogs in different niches according to their traffic. This makes it easier for you to search for blogs in your niche.Browsing blog ranking sites like Blogflux, Topblogarea, Blogtoplist is a great idea.
Blog Rolls:
This point might seem obvious but it is also easily forgotten. If you know blogs in your niche already, then it makes sense to browse through their blogrolls as they would have in all probability linked to other blogs in the same niche as theirs. This way you too can find more bloggers in your niche.
Finding other bloggers in your niche is very important as it helps you to network and learn a lot more. It helps you to find blogs where you can guest post and also come up with new post ideas.
