Two Factors That Are Affecting Growth Of Collegefallout

I have been blogging from 2009 on Collegefallout and it has been a rather cool experience I must say. However, I myself accept that I am very poor at posting content regularly on this blog, even though I try very hard to. It is difficult for me as I am also a student. But I am not a big believer in excuses, so lets just leave that aside.
So after analyzing my Google Analytics report for this month, I came across two things which are affecting the growth of this blog drastically.
Page Bounce Rate: This is a parameter which has been shocking for me to say the least. Collegefallout is clocking a bounce rate of 72.62% site wide. Which is indicative that the other posts on my blog have a poor click-through rate. I will be getting to work immediately by inter-linking my posts more. Also, another point which has been going through my mind for quite some time now is to add a “Random Posts” widget in my sidebar. And of course, the most basic way to bring down the bounce rate is to make more attractive content with even more attractive titles.
Visitor Loyalty: Another big worry factor for me. Collegefallout has only 20% returning visitors, which is not healthy for any blog which aims at being a leader in its niche. So it is going to be another dysfunction which I have to work on fixing. I have learned one thing – earning loyal visitors is one of the biggest headaches a blogger faces.
Google Analytics has really helped me to analyze where Collegefallout is lacking. Otherwise, it would have become very hard for me to diagnose the exact issues which my blog is undergoing.
Till next time, Ciao!
