Notice: HHD testing site closures, week of July 4, 2023:

  • Monday, July 3, 2023: Open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 4, 2023: Closed all day.
  • Wednesday, July 5, 2023: Closed from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Open from 1-5 p.m.

Testing at HHD multi-service centers is free and does not require insurance. 

Appointments are not needed for Houston Health Department multi-service center testing sites. These sites serve walk-up and drive-thru clients and use self-administered shallow nasal swabs.

Results are provided by phone call. If you don’t receive results within 72 hours, please call 832-393-4220

  • Magnolia Multi-Service Center

    Tues., Thur.: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    Wed., Fri., Sat.: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Southwest Multi-Service Center 
    6400 High Star Dr.
    Tues., Thur.: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    Wed., Fri., Sat.: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Nomi Health

Testing at Nomi Health sites is free and does not require insurance. 

Nomi testing sites use self-administered shallow nasal swabs. Visit the Nomi Health Scheduler for appointment information and testing sites. Appointments are available but not required.

Results are provided by text message and email. If you do not receive results within 2 hours for Rapid Antigen or within 48 hours for PCR, call 512-355-0301.
