A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 4053 Cavanaugh Bay Road, Coolin, ID 83821, at 10:00 a.m. local time, on Monday, July 10, 2023 for an estimated 3,800 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Idaho Department of Lands, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $90,907.05 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $909,070.50. The successful bidder’s deposit will be forfeited to the State should the bidder fail to complete the contract. The State will not accept bids from parties who are delinquent on payments on existing state contracts. The average starting minimum bid price for Cedar is $837.20 per MBF and for Non-Cedar is $235.36.  
The sale is located within Sections 4, 5, 8, & 9, Township 63N, Range 04W and Sections 32 & 33, Township 64N, Range 04W, B.M., Bonner & Boundary Counties, State of Idaho. Sale duration is 5 years. The sale may include blowdown and/or insect and disease infected timber which may result in additional volume and recovery reductions. Interested purchasers should carefully examine the sale and make their own estimates as to volume recovery, surface conditions, and proposed construction prior to bidding on the sale. Additional information concerning the timber and conditions of sale is available to the public and interested bidders on the department’s timber sale website at Timber Sale Advertisement App – Department of Lands (idaho.gov) or from the Idaho Department of Lands office, Coolin, Idaho. Cabinet Mountains Water District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Phase 2 – CMWD Water System Improvements.

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of Youngwirth, Davis and Associates located at 7193 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, until Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes water system improvements for the Owner’s Crossport Well Facility, Parker Canyon Tank and Booster Facility and Black Mountain Tank and Booster Facility that generally include the following Work:

New well pump and extension of well building, construction of a concrete water tank, a new booster station, retrofits to an existing tank and booster facility, and other miscellaneous water system improvements. Work also includes water lines, site work, buildings, controls/communications, and restoration associated with the improvements.

The following motions to approve were made the week of May 1, 2023: Appoint Chris Pease to Boundary County Hospital Board with a term to expire January 2024. Approve minutes for the week of April 24, 2023. Approve New Private Road Name Request Form for Maverick Lane.
